On 28 and 29 October, the Taiwan Chinese Herbal Medicine and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Supply Chain Management Research Team of 39 members visited Bozhou. On 28 Oct, our CEO, Mr. Gao Guangyin, and our General Manager, Mr. Wang Chen, greeted Ms. Zhang Zhengfen, Director of Taiwan Trade Centre, and Mr. Ma Yicai, Chairperson of Taipei Chinese Herbal Apothecary Association and fellow representatives.
The welcome dinner prepared by Mr. Gao Guangyin started at 6pm at Huangshan Functional Room, Bozhou Hotel. Honored attendees including Mr. Wei Ligeng, Deputy Mayor of Bozhou City, Mr. Zhang Goufang, CPPCC Vice Chairperson and President of Association of Industry and Commerce of Bozhou, Mr. Li Song, Director of Bozhou Commerce Bureau, and Mr. Lu Jingchuan, Director of Anhui Province Chinese Herbal General Chamber of Commerce were invited to the welcome dinner to celebrate this moment with our guests from Taiwan. The welcome dinner was held by Mr. Wang Chen. Mr. Gao Guangyin delivered a welcome speech, followed by honored deliveries by President Zhang Guofang and Director Lu Jingchuan. Mr. Ma Yicai addressed a thank-you note on behalf of all representatives from Taiwan.
During the research visit, our guests from Taiwan expressed how they were impressed by the Bozhou Chinese Herbal market as well as its industrial scale development. In addition, they have understood that Bozhou has been the largest Chinese Herbal distribution centre in China as well as in the world, and they have expressed the willingness of further collaboration with Chinese Herbal entities in Bozhou and a deviation of partnership from their previous purchasing vendors in Guangdong Province.
The visit to Bozhou has largely enhanced the Chinese Herbal Commerce partnership between Mainland China and Taiwan in a meaningful way.
